For Pups 8 Weeks Up
Suitable for puppies 8 weeks up
Welcome to the Kinder Puppy Program, specially tailored for puppies aged 8 to 20 weeks. This program offers a fun and relaxed environment where your puppy can develop a healthy and positive temperament. If your puppy is slightly older than 16 weeks, we still encourage you to enrol, as we believe both you and your puppy will benefit from the experience.
During this crucial developmental period, puppies experience rapid growth and change. It’s important to shape their behaviour and temperament through proper socialisation. Our program is designed to focus on key socialisation techniques to help your puppy grow into a confident, happy dog.
By the end of the program, you’ll gain essential skills and practical knowledge to manage your puppy effectively. You will learn basic cues, socialisation techniques, and how to understand your puppy’s unique learning style.
Our training philosophy is grounded in ethical, force-free, and compassionate methods. Positive reinforcement, such as treats or praise for good behaviour, strengthens the bond between you and your dog, promoting trust and cooperation. In contrast, punitive measures can lead to fear and anxiety, which may damage the relationship. We do not use any corrections or punitive techniques, ensuring a positive and supportive learning experience for your puppy.

Potty Training Checklist!
- Establish a routine: Set regular feeding, potty, and play schedules.
- Designate a potty spot: Take your puppy to the same place each time they need to go.
- Supervise closely: Watch your puppy indoors to prevent accidents.
- Use a crate or playpen: Keep your puppy in a crate or confined area when unsupervised to help with bladder control.
- Handle accidents calmly: Do not punishment for accidents; clean thoroughly to prevent repeat incidents.
- Be patient and consistent: Stick to the routine and give your puppy time to learn.
A playpen can be a valuable tool during potty training, providing a contained space where your puppy can learn to eliminate in a designated area while still having room to play.
Key Components:
Designated Potty Area:
- Placement: Place the potty area in a corner of the playpen, away from the puppy’s sleeping or playing areas. This helps to create a clear association between the area and potty time.
- Potty Pad or Litter Box: Use either a puppy training pad or a small litter box filled with puppy training pellets. Both options are absorbent and can help to contain odours.
Comfortable Bedding:
- Location: Place the bedding in the playpen, away from the potty area.
- Comfort: Ensure the bedding is soft and comfortable for your puppy to rest on.
Toys and Chews:
- Engagement: Provide a variety of age-appropriate toys and chews to keep your puppy entertained and occupied while in the playpen.
